Here's a safety tip for those of you with furry friends. It’s not recommended to give salty foods such as chips or pretzels to your canine buddy. An excessive amount of salt intake can make them extremely thirsty and urinate often. It could also potentially cause sodium ion poisoning. Look out for symptoms of extra salt intake such as vomiting, high temperature, depression, diarrhea, tremors, and seizures. It can also be fatal.
