Master Meets The Sheen Family

During Supreme Master Ching Hai’s short stay in California, following the Starlight Children’s Foundation Gala, Janet Sheen traveled to Orange County and the Los Angeles Center to visit Supreme Master Ching Hai. The Sheens are a notable Hollywood family. Alongside Martin Sheen, his two sons, Emilio Estevez and Charlie Sheen are also well recognized in many popular movies. Emilio Estevez has starred in “Young Guns,” “The Mighty Ducks,” and “Another Stakeout.” And Charlie Sheen is known for his roles in “Platoon,” “Young Guns,” “Navy Seals,” and the main role in the popular “Spin City.”

The celebrity couple invited Supreme Master to their home in Malibu. Together with their son Charlie Sheen, the family greeted their special guest with genial hospitality. They had lunch together out on the breezy veranda and conversed on many enjoyable and entertaining subjects. Before the departure, Martin and Janet Sheen presented Supreme Master with two gifts as a token of their friendship. One was a pair of snow boots as a symbol of their admiration for Her incredible journey to the Himalayas. And the other was a white Chinese-style shirt, which was one of the costumes that was used in the shooting of the famous motion picture, “Apocalypse Now.” Janet Sheen slipped the shirt on Supreme Master and was delighted that the shirt fit quite well. After warm hugs and souvenir pictures were taken, the Sheens bid farewell to Supreme Master Ching Hai and wished Her a safe trip back.
