Wisdom and Concentration, Part 1 of 10, May 7, 2000, Japan

Though Japan has achieved significant technological and material advancement, within the hearts of its people remains a quiet longing for something beyond the material world — a return to their Divine origin. In the year 2000, a new light of awakening shone upon this beautiful land when Supreme Master Ching Hai (vegan) graciously included Japan as the eighth stop on Her “Ocean of Love” World Lecture Tour. Seven years had passed since Her last visit, and the long-awaited return was met with deep anticipation and joy among sincere Truth seekers.

With heartfelt devotion, fellow practitioners in Japan lovingly prepared for the blessed event — translating Master’s teachings and sharing the news with care and reverence. Through God’s perfect arrangement, everything came together beautifully. When the blessed day of May 7, 2000, arrived, the U-Port Kan-I Hoken Hall in Tokyo was filled with a serene and uplifting atmosphere. The stage, designed like a magnificent kimono featuring a golden sun, silver moon, and countless stars, beautifully symbolized the peace of the universe and the oneness of all Creation.

We are pleased to present the lecture series titled “Wisdom and Concentration,” given by Supreme Master Ching Hai (vegan) on May 7, 2000, in Tokyo, Japan, as part of the “Ocean of Love Tour: Experience the Divine.” In this lecture, Master reminds us that through right concentration and sincere spiritual practice, we can rediscover our inner Light, attain true happiness, and bring peace and love to the world.
