Mr. Gaurav Jain was born into a Jain family that strictly kept a vegetarian diet. Later, as he became more aware of the cruelty involved in the animal livestock industry, Mr. Gaurav Jain fully abandoned milk and proudly become a vegan. First, Mr. Gaurav shares what he has learned from the saints and sages of the Jain tradition. "I feel really proud that I have taken birth in such a religion. The teachings of the Lord Mahavira, who was the 24th Tirthankara (enlightened Master) of Jainism in the recent time. So, His teaching was ‘live and let live.’ You live your own life, and let the others live their own lives. You do not give pain and sufferings for your own living, livelihood, to the other living beings. So, this is ahimsa. The non-violence is the primal, the most important principle under the Jainism. And other things are beyond, like ahimsa (non-violence), satya (truth), These are some other principles under the Jainism, like we should speak always truth."
