I would like to share a safety tip with you today. A recent pilot program in the U.S. demonstrated that changing from gas stoves to electric induction ones could greatly improve indoor air quality. Indoor gas stoves pose health risks to residents in addition to leaking methane, a strong polluting gas. One study conducted last year showed that if induction or other stove types replaced gas stoves, almost 20% of childhood asthma cases could be prevented. Researchers found that nitrogen dioxide concentrations were approximately three times higher when using a gas stove in comparison to an induction stove. Nitrogen dioxide levels detected in study kitchens using gas stoves were greater than what the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency considers “unhealthy for sensitive groups.”

Dear Master Ching Hai, I am impressed by how much You do for our poor animal-persons and humanity.
I want to tell You how much I am suffering. There are two sides in me that fight, hurt me inside, and force me to get angry and to suddenly explode with a bad temper. I wish that these sides in me would not intensify, because otherwise it would tear me apart inside and torment me even more.
Not only am I hurt, but I have great compassion for all people who don’t know, like we do, how to protect our world, for example, by eating a vegan diet.
When I walk on the streets, I often get terrible visions of our world going up in flames, which causes me even more distress and scares me.
But as soon as I recite Master’s Name in the evening, I feel safe and secure. I know that when I am initiated, I will feel even safer, knowing that Master is always with me.
