On today’s program, Ms. Higgins explains why additional laws need to be enacted to address the urgent issue of climate change. Ms. Higgins has a special message for governments and corporations. We each carry a duty of care for ourselves, for our families, for our communities, but also, we do actually have a duty of care, a moral duty of care that extends to our Earth. Our Earth is ultimately our universal home. And that moral duty of care can be translated into law. Scientists have concluded that raising livestock is one of the most significant contributors to global warming.
