We are honored to hear from Dame Dr.Effie Chow on using Qigong to promote wellness. In 1973, she established the East West Academy of Healing Arts in San Francisco, USA. Some many wonder how Western medicine and Traditional Chinese Medicine differ. Dr. Chow now shares with us her insights on the two medical systems. “Yin,” “yang,” ”qi” and “Qigong” are terms all heard when speaking of the ancient thought of China. Dr. Chow now explains these fundamental terms for us. Dr. Chow now further elaborates on qi including other ways to define this force.
