In today’s news, Education Cannot Wait provides funding to provide learning opportunities to children in crisis-affected Niger, Romanian researchers witness and photograph simultaneous solar tornado and massive plasma eruption, new US study finds that tropical forest trees provide strongest planetary cooling effect among all tree varieties, German startup repurposes used electric vehicle batteries for energy storage, community volunteers in Thailand regrow a forest and protect it from wildfires, vegan beauty company in United States uses natural ingredients for effective hair and skin care, and conservation project in UK brings endangered grasshoppers back to wetlands.

An older study found that those with SAD had a 50% improvement in their symptoms after taking an hour-long walk outside every morning for a week. Give this a try to prevent the winter blues!
