The power of the theater is therapeutic. I have been able to work with persons with disabilities, and it has really empowered them, give them the confidence and the capacity to overcome their difficulties. To dig, in spite of any limitation, whether it’s financial or physical, that they have some talent, the gold mine of talent that must be discovered, must be trained to that they can cope with their realities and transform their realities. And they are able to perform beyond their limitations because they are synergized with equally young people in difficult circumstances, either indigenous youth or out-of-school youth.
