Next, we introduce a chorus by Indonesia initiates, bringing us “Bali Island” and “Surabaya.” Indonesia is a country with many islands, and every island is very beautiful. The island of Bali, in particular, is a very famous tourist attraction and vacation destination. The Indonesian people are contented and have few desires. After our Quan Yin Method was introduced to Indonesia, it has also developed very well. After listening to the chorus, we will have a special grand finale. But for this grand finale, we have to change the stage set into a grand setting. During this process our sister will read for us some congratulatory messages. The next program is “The Union of the Rivers,” and it will be sung by Thái Thanh. Before the performance begins there will be a beautiful introductory poem recitation. Next, we’re going to introduce its content to you in Chinese and English. First in Chinese: “Âu Lạc (Vietnam), the land of dragons and fairies. Âu Lạc (Vietnam), the land of beauty and wisdom. Âu Lạc (Vietnam), the land of struggling battles between the negative and positive. Âu Lạc (Vietnam), the land in which sorrow’s essence is harnessed into talents and Sainthood, manifested as brilliant scholars and artists through the maturity of the spirit of sacrifice, patience and love. Âu Lạc (Vietnam), the land of richness and abundance of natural resources, and like most precious things in this world, often sculpted into perfection by misfortune. Âu Lạc (Vietnam), the glorious beauty with her head resting on the long mountain top, and her hair spreading over the white sandy shores, and her soul souring beyond to the infinite. Stretching her loveliness along the coast of the great Pacific Ocean, ever pouring her love and nourishment into the world through her three roaring rivers from the south, center and north. Through all upheavals and changes, joys and sorrows, Âu Lạc (Vietnam), like the mother of Earth, has been and is always giving only love, protection and forgiveness. We thank God for granting us such a mighty nation with so magnanimous a spirit. We thank God for creating such a pillar of strength and endurance, of elegance and goodness. Wishing you, Âu Lạc (Vietnam), to march more boldly into the centuries ahead, raising shining progress and noble examples for this world, as well as the worlds beyond.”
