Today’s show will explore how airlines are moving towards using more sustainable catering products and highlight the landmark event of airline not utilizing any single-use plastics onboard a flight. Currently, we produce more than 300 million metric tons of plastic waste every year, which equals the weight of almost the entire human population. Not only do we have plastic pollution in our oceans, we even create plastic waste in the sky! Fortunately, more and more airlines are taking steps to stop the snowballing plastic waste pollution.
