With all of the time, money, and effort invested in developing Israel's beautiful forests, the JNF wants to protect them. In addition to working to enhance the natural environment and further the greening of Israel, the Jewish National Fund is also seeking to be pro-active in response to the deleterious effects of global warming. JNF Go Neutral encourages water preservation, recycling, traveling by foot or mass transit, buying local, eating less meat, growing one’s own food, and many other Earth-friendly activities.
