VO: Hallo Supreme Master TV team, When I was watching the Ancient Predictions about our Planet, Part 228 “Prophecies by the Great Italian Artist Leonardo da Vinci” on Supreme Master TV, a revelation came into my mind that Supreme Master Ching Hai was Leonardo da Vinci in that past life. By remembering the many works he invented, and especially the paintings, because that’s where he expressed his true nature in the Mona Lisa. This painting has always been a mystery to me because many art critics have tried to figure out who the Mona Lisa is and why he painted it. Many years ago, I figured out who it was, and Leonardo da Vinci painted himself as a woman, but still, there was a missing link on why he did that. The smile on the Mona Lisa is the link that showed Jesus (Supreme Master Ching Hai) was going to come back as a woman, and Master smiles a lot.
The paintings “Salvator Mundi” and “The Last Supper” are a depiction of who really was doing the art works. Jesus Himself was painting all those artworks as Leonardo da Vinci. Once again, the Master has shown me who She was in a past life as Leonardo da Vinci, and also something very interesting came in as I was watching the program, it was that Michelangelo was Her twin soul. Today, let us join the spiritual journey of “Igniting” our souls to go back home as we seek to understand the “Different Ideals” that can lead us down side roads. To teach young souls, a Saint or a Master may at times play the part of “The Clown” simply to cheer up Her disciples. We should all cherish the profound sacrifice of a true Master. For if a Master chooses to remain hidden, leaving behind only “Master’s Shoes and Fan,” where would we find such a living Master again?
In this world of shadows, we often seek warmth from the outside, but the most enduring flame is the one we find within.

This profound wisdom comes from the book “The Key of Immediate Enlightenment,” based on a lecture given by Supreme Master Ching Hai (vegan) on April 25, 1987, in Penghu, Formosa. Master elegantly explains that “The Supra-Worldly Light” is not a mystery but a process of returning to the inner (Heavenly) Light. Let’s listen to Her teaching.
Master: Any great practitioner all speak about the Light. The Chinese character “Ming” for enlightenment involves the sun and the moon, which suggests Light, and that means enlightenment is in Light. How can one get enlightened if there is no Light? Therefore, enlightenment involves Light – to see the Light or radiating the Light by oneself, or to get connected with the Light. Originally, we have the Light and the inner Sound, which are our “Real Nature,” or “Buddha Nature” as said in Buddhism. Jesus Christ said: The Kingdom of GOD is within you; Shakyamuni Buddha said: The Buddha is in your mind; and Lao Tzu taught the similar thing. He did not tell us to look outward for the Tao, and nor did He say that we should make our pilgrimages to the mountains, to the rivers in order to find this Tao. Is it not so? The main point of the Tao Te Ching (The Virtue Sutra) also implies that we should look for the Tao within our own selves.
As Master elegantly reveals, the path to Enlightenment is not a journey to a distant land but a return to the Radiance within. Whether we call it the Kingdom of GOD, the Buddha Nature, or the Tao, it is the Real Nature that has always been our silent guardian. Let us ignite this inner fire of love and allow the Light to guide us all the way back Home.

The Supreme Master Ching Hai (vegan) first named this painting “Master and Disciples” but changed the name to “The Different Ideals.” The person in the picture represents the inner Master, and the dogs going in other directions represent Her disciples. At times, Master laments that Her disciples are not able to become one with Her to strive towards the same noble ideal. The disciples, having too big an ego and too little faith, all too often submit easily to the temptations and influences in this world. However, Master has a rope in Her hands linking Her with all the disciples. Eventually She will take us home where we all came from originally.
This is an abstract painting in which all the elements – the figures, animal-people, and stars – carry deep, vivid meanings. The style reads like a personal diary, expressing inner feelings with perfect clarity.
The lush green trees give us a sense of peace, while the stars and moon symbolize an escape from the busy world, leading us toward meditation. In sharp contrast, the earthy colors in the lower right reflect the heavy weight of daily life. We see the dog with the rope looking away, mouth open and distracted, perfectly illustrating how we often get caught up in everyday distractions. The painting truly captures the spirit of these figures, reminding us of the constant struggle between our souls’ longings and the world’s temptations.
Next, we’ll examine the painting “The Clown.” This work exemplifies Master’s style of symbolic self-portrait. Rather than focusing on Her physical appearance, it uses the image of a clown to visually narrate Her inner world and Her story.
Master once said that She is like a clown who regardless of being ill or feeling sad has to put on a smile in order to make everyone happy. This is alright with Her as long as Her disciples benefit from this, continuing to have faith and are happy while walking on their spiritual path. In the picture, bright and lively colors were used on the right side of the clown and dark and dull colors on the left. This reveals the true nature of the clown: always happy on the outside but sometimes very lonely on the inside.
It reveals the inner world of Master, a Noble Soul who came to this world in a humble form simply to help humanity.
There is a profound silence in the work, “Master’s Shoes and Fan.” Let’s take a moment to truly sense the story behind it.
The Supreme Master Ching Hai (vegan) produced this work during a fasting retreat. The shoes and fan quietly await their Owner. At that time, many heartbreaking things were happening in the world. One evening, during group meditation, Master quietly entered the hall, played the harp, and gestured for the disciples to appreciate the painting. Then, without saying a word, She left.
The shoes and fan were items Master used every day. Seeing them left here without their Owner carries a profound sadness and a deep meaning. We should look at this painting with our hearts; only then can we understand the silent teachings hidden within.
The stillness of this scene conveys an emotion that words can hardly describe. It reflects Master’s quiet disappointment with the noise of the world and Her longing to leave it behind. At the same time, this painting tells Master’s story – of one who endured endless hardships, traveling across mountains and roads, solely because of Her wish to set all souls free.
It reminds us to treasure every moment with our enlightened Master. We should cherish Her presence and let Her guide and uplift us, leading our souls back to our true Home.
