OK. The outer shells are there so that they wouldn’t clash with the atmosphere of our Earth and die. Besides, at such high speed, they have to protect themselves. The outer shells are only there for protection. (So that they don’t rub against the air.) Yes. They can fly without any machines. They use the power of their will. That’s why there’s no noise.
